Overview.
Enroll Virginia is a network of community organizations dedicated to connecting Virginians with low-cost, high-quality health coverage. Our statewide team of navigators are trained and certified to provide enrollment assistance with health coverage options through Medicaid, FAMIS, and Virginia’s Insurance Marketplace.
Navigators offer assistance with every step of the enrollment process, helping clients review their options, check their eligibility for financial assistance, and complete an application for the program that best fits their needs. For individuals who have successfully enrolled, navigators are an ongoing point of contact for resolving coverage issues and understanding how to use their health plan to access care. If someone is not eligible for health insurance, a navigator can help connect them with other health resources in their community.
Enroll Virginia is led by Virginia Poverty Law Center, a nonprofit organization that uses advocacy, education, and strategic litigation to dismantle the systemic barriers that keep people in the cycle of poverty. Our navigators are non-profit employees who work out of legal aid offices and health clinics across the Commonwealth.
By the numbers.
Enroll Virginia navigators are enrollment experts and community educators.
In 2025, our team worked with clients and community members to connect people with healthcare coverage and share essential healthcare education statewide.
